But the biggest problem for Justin (and more so Brian) comes in the form of Ethan Gold a talented violinist who Justin kisses even after having established the “no kissing” rule with Brian in relation to tricks. Justin then returns to living with Brian at the loft. In the first episode we see Jennifer bluntly asking Brian to stay away from her son, however Justin protests and after becoming violent Jennifer accepts that her son loves Brian (even if Brian doesn’t love him). Season 2 and Justin has some-what recovered he’s sustained injury to his motor skills and lost memory of the dance with Brian but overall still alive. The season ends with the cliff-hanger of Brian at the hospital crying over a bloody scarf. In The season finale we whitness Justin and Brian dancing to “Save the last dance” at Justin’s prom before Justin is brutally bashed (by the homophobic Chris Hobbs) with a baseball bat. His parents get a divorce Craig not accepting of his son being a homosexual and we also see Justin fighting against homophobia at his high school with mixed results. In season 1 we see Justin living at Brian’s loft for a short-lived time before running away to New York and moving into Michael’s old room in Debbies house on his return (and working in the Liberty dinner). “Killing you with kindness…” – Justin Taylor After having lost his virginity to Brian (and naming Brian’s son Gus) Justin starts to pursue Brian and by sheer determination and stubbornness Justin finally establishes himself as a character in Brian’s life (whether the man likes it or not). He comes from a typical WASP family with one younger sister, his father Craig Taylor and mother Jennifer. Justin is a high school student attending a prestigious school, St James Academy. As well as intelligent and stubborn, worming his way into the ‘family’ and establishing himself as the newest member. At the begining he is merely a WASP prestigious school attending teenager that draws, likes the powerpuffs, is alergic to almost every drug and speaks like PSA.

And over the course of the series watch him grow from a naive teenager into a very respectful and talented young artist. We’re introduced to the character Justin Taylor (played by Randy Harrison) in the pilot episode of the series.
